Australian Digital Forty Four Multiplex Transport Stream Analysis

Digital Forty Four is a trial datacasting service which was licensed by the Australian Broadcasting Authority (now the Australian Communications and Media Authority) in March 2004 to run initially for three years until late 2007. The license has been extended on several occasions, however on 29 January 2010 it was announced that Broadcast Australia's datacasting licence for Digital 44 had been extended one last time to 30 April, 2010, with digital retransmission of community station TVS expected to commence in March 2010. Digital 44 is the world's first Digital Terrestrial TV service dedicated to datacasting. The service officially launched on March 17, 2004. Digital Forty Four is only broadcast in Sydney, where it carries a number of channels within a single 7 MHz multiplex.

The UK service is a successful web and 24 hour cable television initiative providing teachers and school administrators with professional development resources that are engaging, relevant and convenient to use.
